Registration & Cancellation Policy

Payment of Registration Fees
All fees must be paid in full prior to the conference. Delegates with outstanding amounts at the time of the Conference will be required to settle their account upon collecting their registration pack or provide a credit card guarantee for payment to be made within five (5) days post conference.  

Cancellation of Registration
Deadline for cancellation without penalty: 20 May 2022. 

We hope you will not have to cancel your registration, However should this be necessary, cancellations must be notified in writing to Volunteering Victoria at [email protected]. Cancellations received prior to 20 May 2022 will receive a full refund less a $50.00 administration charge. Refunds for cancellations received after 20 May 2022 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. If you are unable to attend, a substitute is welcome at no extra charge. Please advise Volunteering Victoria of the details of the substitute delegate at [email protected].

COVID-19
Volunteering Victoria and the Arts Centre Melbourne are committed to ensuring a COVID safe event and complying with government health directives. See the the COVID Safety page for more details about the measures being taken to ensure a COVID safe event. 

If you no longer wish to attend the conference due to concerns about COVID-19, this may be treated as a ‘change of mind’. The standard cancellation policy will apply. If you have a health condition that means you are at higher risk, you should contact Volunteering Victoria at [email protected] to see if you are eligible for a refund. 

Given the exceptional circumstances, Volunteering Victoria strives to treat consumers fairly, including by offering refunds as a goodwill gesture where appropriate. 

Cancellation of Event
Volunteering Victoria reserves the right to cancel or postpone the conference if government directives require a reduction in capacity to ensure a safe event. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be processed in reverse order based on transaction date. 

Confirmation of Registration and Tax Invoice
Once you have completed the online registration form, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that the email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered when registering for the Conference. This confirmation email will contain a link to a copy of your tax invoice.
